Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Teaching Assistantships
The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at UNM offers teaching assistantships and/or graduate assistantships each academic year. WGSS assistantships are open to graduate students in any discipline at the University of New Mexico. Graduate students with research interests in feminist, gender, and sexuality studies are strongly encouraged to apply.WGSS teaching assistants carry a .25 appointment, which includes a stipend, a tuition waiver of up to 6 credits during the semester of appointment, and the standard health insurance premium coverage provided by UNM for graduate assistants. (Please visit http://grad.unm.edu/funding/assistantships.html for more details on health insurance benefits for graduate assistants).

To qualify as a WGSS TA, candidates must be students of good standing enrolled in a graduate degree program at UNM and have a demonstrable scholarly interest in feminist, gender, and/or sexuality studies.
